The annual picnic
went off without a hitch
As we did in previous years, we held the annual picnic at the Blue Ridge parkway
at a picnic area not far from Manry's Mill. The picnic
has developed into a well-attended affair and a great
opportuniity for all members to renew their bonds by
engaging in good eating and fellowship. This year it
was held on August 21st. and was blessed with
excellent weather. As usual, the club did
provide the main meal, and we -the members- will
contributed our favorite side dishes. Thanks to
all those who participated, and particularly to Ronald
for his hard work in making this event another succes.
Our meetings take place at 6:30 pm every first
Tuesday of the month.
